Positive: The hotel venue is great since it connects with the waterway of the Tram Chim national park. There's a deck where you can sit and have coffee and watch the birds during sunset and sunrise which was fantastic. We also took the night boat tour designed by the hotel, and we loved it. The tour guide was enthusiastic, friendly and nice and he lent us the binoculars to watch the birds. The front desk staff were also nice. There's also bike rental service which we rented two bikes and ride to the hotel nearby farm (Senta farm). It was lovely ride and we enjoyed the people and the coconut at the farm.

Negative: Food at the hotel was rather pricey, even more than restaurants in big city like Ho Chi Minh city. We ordered a chicken curry soup, and were told curry with the whole chicken, but the portion was only half of chicken (we think!) and we were still hungry after the meal (dinner). The free breakfast that came with the hotel room booking was okay.

Summary: Peaceful stay, would recommend others.

Positive: Wildbird Hotel is a lovely little spot on the perimeter of Tràm Chim National Park. We stayed in the quiet season, but still received great service. The room was bright, fresh and clean. The food was nice, slightly more expensive than in the township. We enjoyed an evening bike ride, a boat ride, and bird watching. Staff assisted with boat, taxi, and bus bookings. I would highly recommend Wildbird Hotel to families, bird enthusiasts, and those who love nature.

Positive: An excellent hotel from which to explore the neighboring swampland and the birdlife there-in.

Negative: Not really a problem with the hotel but the boat captains don't really understand birds and birding. Having a dedicated skipper prepared to spend time observing the different species instead of just going round and round would be good.

Summary: Friendly and affordable hotel from which to bird the national parks.

Positive: Spotless clean room and beds. You would not expect such a nice place on the main road. We came for bird watching and it is absolutely worth for your money. The owner himself is also a bird watcher and an expert. The guide is very professional .

Positive: A very clean and comfortable stay. Sadly there was not a lot of things to do around us. But for those who like bird watching it would be ideal.

Negative: We were very disappointed with our meal. A lot of this was to do with the language. As we couldn't understand the menu.

Positive: I very much enjoyed my stay at the Wildbird Hotel. There were 3 choices for breakfast along with fruit, porridge, coffee and tea. The outdoor restaurant also serves excellent food for lunch and dinner. The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the Tram Chim National Park where you can arrange for a boat tour of the park. Beautiful photos of the many species of birds found within the park limits line the walls of the common areas of the hotel. The owner is an active volunteer with the park in helping to restore the Sarus crane population.

Summary: A calm and peaceful stay. I definitely would return.
